Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. Many restaurants across Pennsylvania run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Lancaster is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Lancaster is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

This was my first time trying Pho and I absolutely loved it. The texture and flavor had a unique taste to them, one that is different from ramen and udon noodles. I learned that Pho, originated from Vietnam, noodles are made from thin steamed rice flour that is then pounded and trimmed into thin strands. These noodles have a hard/soft texture to them as well as sweet and salty flavor. At Noodle King there are many beef, chicken, and veggie options to add to your Pho. My personal favorite was the beef Pho. I would recommend this place to everyone!

The Brisket Pho is amazing! Did take-out and served it up in a Yatzar Clayworks bowl. Highly recommend.

This place is perfect for a cold day. I got the medium rare beef pho, which is very reasonably priced for the portion size. Itβs loaded with rice noodles, lots of cilantro and green and white onions in a heart broth. Just be wary if you arenβt a huge fan of cilantro because when I say itβs loaded, itβs a lot. The fried egg rolls and shrimp spring rolls are also excellent.
